Awesome lake with great tent and trailers sites. Can rent paddle boat or small fishing boats.

Great place to bring the family fishing, plenty of Trout & Kokanee usually end up limiting out.

Not good just out with family looking for a place to picnic when we arrived this lady met us out in front of store and we told here that we were just there for a picnic and she said that will be $5.00 we did our picnic and were leaving and she came back and said that will be another $1.00 since we didn't launch a boat and then she said it is $3.00 per person and there was 4 of us. I guess I could look at it like we saves $6.00 for 30 minutes or they are just taking money without clear rules. We camp alot and always looking for new places this place has been eliminated.

The older lady who basically acts as the "camp cop" was horribly rude to my son because he held a turtle that was next to the dock -- heaven forbid! She screamed at him, and then demanded his name and address because we weren't staying at the camp, only doing a little fishing. He came back to the truck in tears. If someone breaks your rules unknowingly, especially a child, you do not need to rip their head off.

Fortunately, there are some other older guys that are much more laid back and friendly to interact with, usually around the dock house.

This is a nice spot for a quick swim on a hot day, but the fishing is hit or miss.

This is a beautiful, small(ish) lake surrounded by forest and hills/mountains. We used the main access, owned by Andy's family since 1919. We rented a small boat from Andy and tooled around. It was quite nice. Others were catching fish. There are two floating docks; one with a diving board. We camped at a Hippcamp above the main access. It was quite nice. Tons of birds. Quiet besides the birds, lol. A couple wild Turkeys strolled through/near our camp. Cool, secluded place off the main path.
