The Pend Oreille WMA consists of 25 discontinuous parcels of land scattered along the edges of Lake Pend Oreille, the Pend Oreille River, Pack River, Clark Fork Delta, Priest River and additional nearby waters. The properties range in size from 2 acres to 1,729 acres. Map: https://idfg.idaho.gov/sites/default/files/wma-map-r1-pend-oreille-2019.pdf
Public facilities are available but scattered across this sprawling WMA. Paved roads provide access to the WMA properties. Once on the WMA, all travel is non-motorized. Mowed maintenance trails on some segments provide paths for foot travel, biking, skiing and other non-motorized means of travel.
Fishing in the area was less than impressive despite descriptions otherwise, however, the view was excellent as promised.
This place has a small gravel post ramp and a decent sized parking lot. There is also a porta potty which was ok on Friday but by Sat afternoon was very gross. Camping was allowed here for up to 3 nights. Not the best place to tent camp but doable. A good place to put in a kayak or small craft.
