This is now my offical happy place.

Roads passable but rough for passenger vehicles. Quiet except the roar of the nearby river. Occassional road traffic creates a bit of noise and dust from time to time.

Well maintained, clean & level camp sites for tenting. RVs have 2 solid campsites for trailers/motor homes. Campground is not very RV friendly, no pull throughs & backing is difficult.

Cost is $14 per night. Garbage is included, otherwise it's $5 for the dispersed campers.

Fire pits are nice and deep. Each site has a picnic table with a notice that this is bear country. Keep everything food or water related locked up. Radiate dish water remnants in a circle & toothpaste too.

Bring your own water & toilet or use the vault toilet near campsite #2, near the entrance.

We stayed at this campground over labor day and it was quiet and secluded from the crowds, with a stream right there and easy access. The price per site felt a little steep but overall I enjoyed the area. I would visit again

Campsite was very nice and the stream is close by. The price is a little high for what you get considering Murdock has water and nicer bathrooms. They also need to enforce leashes on dogs. Several times we had dogs in our campsite and saw them taking a craps with no one to clean up after them. Both the host and a guy in a fire vehicle were there when dogs were not on leashes. The guy driving the white fire truck seemed to interested in the lady in the swimsuit to care that the dog three feet away was wandering around freely. He even gave the lady a green bag as a gift. Maybe I need to wear a swimsuit more often???
