Great location. On the bike path, walking distance to downtown, but still feels out of town. Bathrooms are clean. Lots of shade in most sites.

This is a really nice and small campground. It is in a great location, a little bit out of lanesboro and right on the river and bike trails. The bike trails stretch for miles in either direction, taking you to other towns and locations such as the Old Barn camp ground. They have a good sized playground, swings, basketball, and volleyball cour and a Pavillion. Another great thing to do is tube or go down the river, you can start in town at the falls and take a 45 minute to an hour long ride back to the campground. On holidays they will have celebrations and parties like for the 4th of July they had duck races, a dance and bingo. Its a great spot, so give it a try!

Great campground with many amenities: playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tubing down Root River, trout fishing in Root River, picnic tables and fire ring at every campsite, clean bathrooms and showers, on the Root River bike trail.

Would highly recommend a trip through this campground! It’s nestled in a beautiful part of Minnesota along the root river with access to wonderful bike trails and viewpoints. Many little towns to stop in. The campground was well kept, accessible and the owner was super responsive. They have bathroom facilities, power, firewood and a playground.

Large sites with mature trees. Very clean, quiet. Affordable and close to town. Large bathrooms and showers. Showers cost .50 cents for five minutes, 20 seconds but plenty of time. We would absolutely camp here again. P.S. only one criticism....their office is hard to find. It is above the bathroom area. Go up the stairs and knock on the door to their residence. They need to post a sign so people can find the office.
