This secluded campsite hosts one party of up to twelve people at a time. It is located below the scenic Bluff hollow along Root River. Pitch your tent in the forest or along the shores of the winding river.
Proximity to the river makes this place great for boating, fishing, and swimming. Amenities include a fire pit, picnic table and outhouse with a compostable toilet. Carry in your own water, firewood, food, and shelter.
Drive in access on a dirt road off of the end of Se 43rd Avenue in Rochester, Minnesota.
We enjoy camping here. It is quiet and laid back. Nothing fancy, just a friendly campground and a low price.
Spacious grassy sites. Very friendly campers here. Nice and quiet but walking distance to restaurants, fuel, food.
Beautiful little park in the Root River Valley! Electric and water hook-ups plus dumpage plumbing available on every site!
Quiet, peaceful, right on the bicycle trail, a stones throw from river access and to top it all off the season rates compared to all other campgrouds/RV parks are absolutely phenomenal. Owners are local and awesome people in general. Fast with responses and eager to answer any questions you might have and NO I'm not a family member, friend or paid reviewer. I call it how i see it and you should come check out Bluffview Campground.
This was a trailer park, now converted to rv park. Easy to fit a big rig in. $25 . Look up bluffviewcampground.com for more info. Hope it doesn't fill up with permanent campers.
Update 8/ 18, price $27. Since this was a mobile home park the electric service is at back corner of lot you may need an extra cord and it is a 50 amp hook up only so have an adapter. What little gravel left from old site needs to be moved and extended. Stan the man a great help.
