Great place to camp for the season or just an overnight tent or RV excursion. The people in the office are friendly but have limited hours during the week but usually there on weekends until 4.

I car camped here for 3 nights and I will not stay here again. There is no privacy. The bathroom was cleaned once during my stay and the shower is small and dirty. There was an outdoor movie one night and music another night- great if you wanted to participate, but not so good if just want to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature...

So the campsite was large and flat, clean, next to body of water. You could probably put 7-12 tents on that site if you wanted to, though that would get expensive. Cost was $29/tent/night so it adds up quick. Cost did not match quality. Fire pit is extremely small, no grate with fire pit. Shop with good firewood, ice and a bunch of stuff if you forget things. Restroom facility is not clean, the women's restrooms soap and paper towel dispenser was ripped off the wall, there was mud all over the sinks, water has a very strong sulfur smell, it would have been alright if they even tried to put hand soap and a roll of paper towels. The men's restrooms are very well taken care of. Also, the sounds and mess of geese are everywhere. Good thing is you don't have to set an alarm clock, 6am they surround your tent like a campfire and talk to each other at full volume. If you don't like bright and early wakeup calls then I would suggest earplugs. The campsite is nice, nice location of trees and open area, just very expensive.

Beautiful property for a true camping experience. I started here camping weekends in my tent and now have a seasonal lot with a travel trailer. I have experienced both sides. I found this campground safe, friendly, and relaxing. This campground is set up to accommodate all camp styles (seasonal, overnight, tent, RV, water/electric and dry camping). Clean shower house, camp store, owner on-site, relaxed vibe, family friendly, great fishing, boat rentals, swimming pond, Bingo most Saturdays or an event for all campers to join. Yes there is mobile phone service and stores nearby.
