Zion is a Christian run organization and is non-denominational. We are open to the public with year round cabin, pavilion, & full hook up RV lot rentals plus a nature trail, playground, & so much more.
We had my nephew’s graduation party at Zion, and even though it rained a good bit, we still had a wonderful time. We were able to enjoy early morning kayaking (before the storms arrived) and had the lake to ourselves. It was beautiful and peaceful. The rain actually enhanced the stay, because the large porch provided a comfortable, dry place to watch the passing storms. And the views are just incredible. The cabins are lovely, and well worth the money. The beds are comfortable, sheets are soft and towels are high quality. The kitchen comes fully stocked with whatever you may need and they even provide lawn chairs so you can sit around the fire ring. There’s a dish washer, and washer/dryer. All the comforts and conveniences of home! The only thing I would add is mini blinds or curtains on the bedroom windows, so one may darken their room if they’d like. We love coming here and can’t wait to return. When I visit home from Texas, it’s the first place I want to come. Zion is Mother Nature at its finest!
Would highly recommend staying here. There is an RV park with new bathrooms, four large cabins and multiple rustic cabins. There is a beautiful lake with a dock and a pavilion with glass surround and kitchen for events. There is a kids play ground and zip line.
Came out for a work retreat and had so much fun! The staff was super friendly, and the area was super beautiful! The cabins are pet friendly as well, I highly recommend checking this place out if you're trying to get out if town but not go too far! They have zip lining into the water, swimming, kayaking, boating, a football field, and so much more! And for being out in the country, it's very clean! Can't wait to book with my family and friends 😊
This was my second stay at Zion and this stay was even better than before. We stayed in the rustic cabins as we wanted something simple and relaxing (and I wanted to wake up and walk out the door to a view of the lake). 2 adults, a 7 year old and a large dog fit very comfortably in the cabins.
There are so many options for fun at Zion; trampoline in the swimming lake, fishing and kayaking in the big lake, nature trails and so much more. It's calm and inexpensive, definitely going a lot more often.
Extra clean cabins with extremely friendly staff!! Located in such a great small town that's far enough out you feel instantly at home... but still 30 minutes from a mall and restaurants.
