My wife and I raise our kids there 25 years we've been going there nice place nice people had a lot of good times and still do💯💯💯😎♥️
I really enjoyed the holiday campgrounds. There was everything there you can possibly imagine like a little town all to its campers. I was actually glamping on a holiday vacation. They have swimming pools golf course laundry they even offer free gravel Stone there were so many things I can't even remember also right next to two lakes plenty of boating general Store everything you can possibly imagine and more! Close enough to go into Cherry valley where the Amish have a store that has everything you can imagine bulk foods fresh produce and Amish furniture that was a really good time and of course many souvenirs to bring home. Also close to another little town that has Ohio's oldest general Store called the end of the commons once again a lot of Amish things we ended up having dinner there it was a very nice vacation.!
Super friendly staff and lots to do. I just wish their activities such as mini golf are open more than Sat and Sun.
....truthfully, the place is starting to feel like an overpriced trailer park. overdoses in the campgrounds, constant raising of yearly dues with no real improvements to show for it. Throughout the years, the grounds have become less and less child friendly. Teens have nothing to keep them occupied, used to be "teen dances," and the kids could at least get together, hang out, and listen to music. They stripped it from them. There is a plethora of loud obnoxious drunks with even louder music partying past quiet time (12am, later on holiday weekends)
...the place it's just okay, nothing more
Absolutely breath taking homes here. The atmosphere is amazing. The people are just so welcoming. You will not believe that these are CAMPERS, they look like luxurious HOMES! There's an event practly every weekend and there's something for everyone at every age. This place is a home away from home.
