We have been having our family reunion there for+/- 30 years. Very nice facility, we already made reservations for next year.
THIS PLACE NEEDS ATTENTION!!!
First time there, I asked the lady at check in (not the owner ) if they had any seasonal sites she looked out the window seen my sister and I had older trailers and the lady said they were all filled up.. and even if they did have a site next year the price was going up several hundred dollars, But little does she knows We have newer 35' trailers we wanted to put there not the ones we had when camping for just the the weekend. So I feel the lady was judging us on our older weekend trailers NOT knowing We have newer 35' trailers we use for permanent camping.. Nice campground great pool.. But Beware you will be judged by what you have, I Frown on people or campsites that judge people by what they have So I rate this campground with a 👎!!!!!!
Memorial Day Sunday and Timashamie was packed to the brim with people. A lot of griping about the $5 a head entry fee for guests. But there was noise and chaos, dogs and kids, music and noise everywhere. Day rentals slots are being converted to long term leases. The only complaints about services was low electrical power (brown outs) when the park was full. I also noticed a crop duster applying chemicals on a field one half mile away. I hope the prevailing wind was away.
We had reservations for the tent spot on the hill, we were told that it is 2 tent sites and that another family would be up there. Ok cool. We got there and the other family had spread out their camping things to take over the whole hill. Timashamie was able to give us another spot in a place they called 'the cove'. It was nice being back so far from other campers. It kinda sucks that it's basically right next to the road (just a hill separated tent sites from the road). we had a good time
