Our first and last time here. Was given a map that had me turn at the putt putt golf course when in reality they didn’t have one. Lady was very rude describing the site. The people next to us hogged all the electric outlet and was very loud and invited there whole family over sat night taking up some of our space. Very rude and loud. Liked the music but noticed a lot of parents not watching there kids in the game room cause they were too busy getting drunk and listening to the band. Drove in the next day woman screamed at us about our pass. You could tell they squeezed as many people in there so they could make a profit. Showers were disgusting had rust all over them and the water smelled like sulfur. Swimming lake is not as big as it appears in the picture. Camper beware. Will not be back.
My daughter and son-in-law and 2 of my grandson's and their families have campers there all year. I have been going there for quite a few years. It's clean and well kept. The park has horseshoe and corn hole tournaments and bands on the weekends. There is a fishing lake and a swimming hole. Lots to do during the season. Super place.
The owners have taken this park from well below our standards to a park that we got a permanent spot at. They continue bringing an old park back to life. I'm looking forward to another season here, the live bands, the new playground, the fishing pond, and the swimming area that has a tint of blue.
The campground is very large with a lot of features like swimming, fishing (no license needed!) rec hall, pavilions and lots of areas for kids to run and play. This was our first time here and we stayed two nights, June 2-3rd as we are traveling through. A live band is playing (Saturday)that started at 7 pm and is still going at 11:00 pm. If you’re looking for a party atmosphere this is the place to be. If you want a quiet evening, don’t stay here on a Saturday. By the way, on their website’s calendar for today it has scheduled a campers’ flea market, not a band ☹️ so you can’t go by that.
Very clean, peaceful, quiet, and friendly. Well kept. Great big blue awesome swimming pond! And a very pretty fishing lake too.
Great family environment .... no loud all night parties, no one steals anything, (all my stuff sat outside literally untouched for weeks during set up, including some tools) and no one is running your dogs, guests or children over with speeding golf carts.
We've camped at a few different places, and this is by far the most relaxing, safe and peaceful environment we've encountered anywhere.
We've been here 3 weeks and we absolutely LOVE it.
(I would ignore some of the grossly inflammatory bad reviews... nothing like that going on here - just a certain group of people and their friends spamming the page because they've been asked to leave the park for various reasons- all due to their own behavior)
