We had my nephew’s graduation party at Zion, and even though it rained a good bit, we still had a wonderful time. We were able to enjoy early morning kayaking (before the storms arrived) and had the lake to ourselves. It was beautiful and peaceful. The rain actually enhanced the stay, because the large porch provided a comfortable, dry place to watch the passing storms. And the views are just incredible. The cabins are lovely, and well worth the money. The beds are comfortable, sheets are soft and towels are high quality. The kitchen comes fully stocked with whatever you may need and they even provide lawn chairs so you can sit around the fire ring. There’s a dish washer, and washer/dryer. All the comforts and conveniences of home! The only thing I would add is mini blinds or curtains on the bedroom windows, so one may darken their room if they’d like. We love coming here and can’t wait to return. When I visit home from Texas, it’s the first place I want to come. Zion is Mother Nature at its finest!
