We used to stay there for years, but the rates increased so much it is ridiculous. It's a dirty place and very unfriendly owners. I would recommend you stay at Eagle's Nest right down the road.

This place is out of the way for a reason. It's clean and relaxing, just what you need to get away from it all. You're close to the Caverns and the lakes. If you're into bird watching there's a ton to see. The owner is kind and more than willing to guide you in the right spot. We spent three days with the family and met some really nice people. Our six year old had a blast in nature and not on his video games. That counts as a win parents. We will return again.

Conveniently located near the kava tunnels.

Tent spots (I'd suggest adding signs to find them) have nice pines and picnic tables nearby. If you look closely there might be the occasional piece of trash (dish, ziploc bag, can). Showers are a plus and bathroom is ok clean, doesn't smell at all. Overall a decent place, would come back.

Great place to stay, we were here for the first week in June. Had 3 nights tent camping, then 1 night in a nice cabin due to a freak hailstorm. Pam made sure we were well taken care of. Can't wait to go back. Have to add that the restroom/shower facilities were the best I ever had at a campground.

We stayed here at the beginning of July and were impressed by the cleanliness, spacious RV spaces and general tranquility. The cabins give the feeling of a vintage 1970s summer camp which was charming. It was also a very easy 20 minute drive to Lava Beds National Monument which make it the perfect campground to explore the park.
