I like Boulder Creek RV . Getting a little spendy but always been treated. Good . The place is clean , quiet, good location. and a bonus it’s right next-door to the best car wash I’ve ever been to.

Our experience was short and not cordial. We had stayed at several RV parks prior to our stop at Boulder Creek RV Resort. Each stop was easy and friendly. When we arrived here, we had been on the road 1 1/2 hours more than expected due to road construction, it was 112 degrees. We needed shade, we needed to pee and a few minutes to find another place to stay out of the heat. But the office was closed, and late check in procedures are in paragraph 5 of fine print. So we quickly the parked in shade, didn’t have a key card for the bathroom, had to pee, and get out of the heat. As we were leaving the park, (reservation paid in full $72+ for maybe 10 minutes) our reservation was canceled because I peed and we were swiftly escorted out.

I’m sorry I didn’t take the time to have access to your restroom and peed on a tree. I don’t blame your park for the heat wave, and understand the cancellation policy I agreed to. The park patrol couple could have tried to be understanding, but they didn’t. They were the only individuals we met in 7 days/2100 miles that weren’t nice.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Our pull through site was spacious for us and easy to get into. There are so many plants in the park, and we saw lots of animals (birds, frogs, lizards, etc.) and it's clear that the staff puts a lot of work into tending the grounds and cleaning.

The showers and bathrooms were immaculate. I've stayed in a lot of RV parks and resorts, and I think these are the best showers and bathrooms I've ever seen. Yes, you need a key card to get into them, which would be inconvenient for a late check-in, but Redding has a large homeless population and high property crime/theft rate relative to its size, so I understand why they lock everything down.

Related to security matters, they also have a security guard who sometimes patrols the park at night (and has a flashing light on the car). I believe in the 6 nights we were there, the car came by our site in a way that I noticed on 2 of those nights. The first time I saw the lights, I was confused, but after I realized what it was, it wasn't a bother and actually a bit reassuring to know someone was keeping an eye on things.

We were also really pleased to discover that they can do propane fills of attached tanks (like in our class C motorhome) unlike a lot of parks we've stayed in which will only fill the standalone ones. The woman in the office who filled ours was smart, friendly, and helpful.

This place is beautiful with lots of trees! The down side is all of the fees!!! Transient fee of 12% is rediculous ! I’m sorry but if you have an issue than you need security and a gated community! I stayed at the Red Bluff Rv park the next time and it was wonderful!! I’m not paying for others issues!! But this park is pretty!

This is our second stay at this RV park. It is so well kept. We absolutely love it. We got a pull through site for our 32 foot rig. It was right across from the bathroom. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked. We used their showers just because ours doesn't have great hot water control. They were great! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Our dog Peachy loved the off leash dog park.
