The spots were to small to accommodate our rig. They would not refund our money. We were lied to about being able to be refunded. Then one of the gals attempted to speak to me as if I was a child.

Pro tip: Rather than get a bad review, just be a decent human being and accommodate your guest.

1 Star - Exploitative and Deceptive

Our experience at this campground was nothing short of an outrage. It is evident that the owners are more interested in profiting at the expense of their customers than maintaining a quality establishment.

The misrepresentation of amenities and the blatant lack of maintenance are deeply concerning. The campground's website proudly boasts about a "NEW HOT TUB" that was out of commission and years old! The showers, which were advertised as "sparkling clean," were all closed - with the exception of one, leaving us with minimal options.

To make matters worse, we were charged an additional fee without our consent, a fee that appeared on our bill without any prior notification. When we tried to contact the staff after hours, as they claim to be available 24/7, there was no one on-site, and our attempts to reach them by phone were futile. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.

Our laundry experience was equally frustrating. We requested change at the front desk to use the laundry facilities, but we were not informed that the dryers were malfunctioning. Consequently, we wasted $9 on drying our clothes with no results, resorting to hanging them up instead.

It is evident that this campground treats its customers as mere cash cows. Such exploitative practices, including false advertising and a disregard for maintenance, should not be tolerated in the modern age. We strongly discourage anyone from considering this campground for their stay, as it fails to live up to its promises and appears to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.

We expressed our disappointment and thankfully got a small amount back from the park. But it was a lot of work. And a lot of emotional pain involved. You should get what you paid for and not need to negotiate after false advertisement.

A call to the Owners: this park likely makes around 100k A MONTH (I, a PhD in Astrophysics, calculated this with the "low, weekly rate" (which is still high) assuming half the park is occupied!). You need to put more money back into the park instead of hogging it. You might consider paying the workers more too! Do not exploit those who are less privileged than you.

Stayed only one night at this clean, well-maintained RV spot. Friendly staff, lovely showers. Would definitely stay again!

We popped in for an overnight with the RV. The location for this is perfect and I’ve rated this as a clean, comfortable, friendly, safe-feeling spot to do that.

(If you have antsy kids, or want lots of space and activity check out the Sacramento River RV Park just a bit south.

Though we had a back-in, the site was paved, level, plenty long, and wide enough of a road to make this a cinch. (#74) We’re a trailer, but next to us was a longer 5th wheel.

(We WERE offered a pull-through.)

The park was clean and well kept nestled next to the “mountain “ and under the colorful Maple trees this time of year

Though we didn’t have a reservation (early Dec ‘23) this wasn’t a problem. There were enough spaces despite it seeming to be a popular spot with extended stay use.

There’s a small seasonal pool.

Pets are allowed.

Ten minutes south is the town which offers plenty. We mailed packages and caught happy hour at RAW —so delicious.

There’s even a trampoline park in town for those who have bodies that need to move.

Google Maps got us here just fine. (Same directions as the office supplied)

I want to rate this more but just can't. Outside of the fact it's quiet in the winter, this park needs a lot of work. The manager is not very good and doesn't live in the park, which shows with the maintenance and upkeep of important things.

The phone is never answered (over 18 calls), despite the lady sitting in the office all day and responses were usually in a day.

The 'Dog Park' has been completely abandoned and is no more than a muddy pit with a broken plastic fire hydrant and weak spots in the fence.

The bathrooms did have hot water, but they were dirty and dated.

The laundry facilities were out of order. Based on other reviews, this has been an issue for at least 5 months.

The Hot Tub is out of order (issues with pumps/heaters, got two seperate answers).

The maintenance of leaves during the fall was poor. I only saw the maintenance person clearing them once in the beginning and then leaving them to rot the rest of the season.

Overall, there are other nice parks in the area I wish we would have tried. This place is quiet, as you usually can't hear the interstate, but could have been better for the price. When we come back again, we will be trying another park.
