Grateful Hammock is on 8 acres of land in the beautiful Ocala National Forest. This is an intentional, progressive community of music lovers. Grateful Hammock offers primitive tent sites as well as RV/Trailer camping. There are 6 total sites, with up to 6 guests per site.
The nearby Silver River offers opportunity to see lots of wildlife including wild monkeys, alligators and a myriad of birds. The Ocklawaha River is also a great place to go for fishing. Horseback riding is available at Captain Jacks.
Everyone is very friendly great atmosphere and very relaxing the music is excellent
Hands down my favorite place to simply 'get away' to in central Fla. Being a musician makes this place the defacto and ONLY place worth the venture as there is a soundstage. for locals or travelling musicians,.. folks, this is the real deal!

This place truly deserves a 501c3 tax exemption. Dan & Donna have poured every bit of themselves into this beautiful space. I hope they get the support that they Deserve! I'm certain someone out there has the knowledge, and desire to help them in this process.
