We stayed 3 nights in order to visit Nashville. The park is about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and about 20 minutes to the Grand Ole Opry. The sites in this park are level with compacted gravel but very close together. In spite of that we did not feel crowded. Ie....nobody was encroaching. As mentioned in other reviews the train goes by frequently. I can't imagine the people in those sites right below the track would feel very comfortable but our site was a little further away so it didn't really bother us. There did not seem to be any trains through the night. There is some road noise but not at night. The showers and washrooms were very clean. Wifi strength was good. What this park has going for it is the staff and the vibe of the park. There is live music every night and food available for purchase throughout the day. Also a well stocked camp store. The park provided a free Thanksgiving meal to everyone and it was excellent. We spoke to a couple who have stayed long term each year and they raved about the family feeling of the park. It is clear that the owners look after the place and are very friendly. There seemed to be new gravel everywhere. Not much grass by the sites but there is a large grassed area to walk your pooch. Overall if you are looking for a friendly place close to Nashville and don't mind being close to your neighbor, this is the place for you. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in November! Sites are tight but you can't beat the price, location to Nashville, and live music at the campground! Many people mention the train being a major issue but it didn't bother us a bit. Thank you for a great stay!

Very quaint RV resort. Had a great Thanksgiving dinner provided by the resort last evening on the house. Very nice staff. The restaurant reminds me of a Waffle House! Everything is freshly made. The train tracks next to the resort have trains running throughout the day, great for kids & the sound brings back great memories! A+++ Highly recommend as it’s right off the highway, everything is on property and close to Nashville.

My first RV park. Booked in for a couple of nights on New Years Day. They were out front to greet me as I pulled up. Very friendly and accommodating on getting me all set up! Seemed great to me. Spot was level and comfortable. Still too chilly to spend much time outside so didn't do much on the campsite. They have some great food available which came in handy as I hadn't yet did any grocery shopping. Pizza was delish and breakfast was alright.
