The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because they don't have hook ups or a dump station. Other than that, this is one of my FAVORITE places to go. Leon Locke runs a tight ship and it shows!

Leon from the Parks and Recreation came by and was an amazing soul, very helpful, polite and concise.

He did explains that the park used to be free camping, but is not free anymore.

$22 for out of county visitors.

Beautiful free camping spot. We stayed for 13 days due to loving it so much! Free hot showers, picnic table at site, garbage removal. We kayaked every day. Only negative was hearing the echo of generators from across the water and a camper parked in the area by road where they let their 2 dogs tied up outside barking, but the owners were not there. They just left them there. They would come by every other day and just left them out there by themselves. That was frustrating. We did alert the park employees. They were great people! Cannot wait to stay again.

Beautiful, quiet, and clean. Not too crowded in the middlenof the week. Nice bathhouse. Can pull your boat right up to your campsite.
