The park is so beautiful and we loved the campground. The sites are big, full hookup and concrete. There are walking trails and a lake where you can rent paddle boats. We will definitely go again.
Great place to stay. We only stayed overnight but we plan on coming back for a longer stay. Follow signs to park as Garmin may take you down a road that is not big rig friendly.
Stopped here in our way south to Florida. Beautiful park, very clean facilities. Nice, large lot with plenty of space between neighbors. Very peaceful. We were there on Juneteenth, so paddle boats and canoes were not rentable. Cell signal was light here, so we enjoyed nature walks and non-digital games.
End if November stay, campground is quit busy. Really nice place. The campground store was closed by the time we arrived, and the park ranger was so kind, he went and picked up firewood and delivered it to us. What a great State Park Campground!
We stayed here for five days. Our site was 36. It is a small, very clean campground and park. The spaces were concrete and mostly level. Water, Electric and sewer available. They have nice paved walking trails, paddle boat rentals and frisbee golf. This campground is very nice, much nicer than the ones at Cove Lake, Big Ridge and Norris Dam. We stayed here and traveled to those parks for hiking and kayaking. All the staff that we spoke to were so helpful and nice. We Very much enjoyed our stay!!
