Camping is truly a pleasure at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga. Good Sam RV Travel Guide and Campground Directory has recognized Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, as a Top Family Campground for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Boasting campgrounds from Alberta, Canada, to the Emerald Coast of Florida, this list of 52 RV Parks is tailored for RV travelers seeking campgrounds that help them get away from the stresses of everyday life… We have several well-shaded, grassy tent sites available. There are back-in’s that can accommodate pop-up vans, camper vans and small RV’s. Tenters will also appreciate easy setups on our raised, level tent pads. Our grassy tent areas provide a comfortable, tenting atmosphere for individual campers or large family reunion groups.
Northbound on I-75 take Exit 1B. If Southbound on I-75 take Exit 1. In either case, go right at top of ramp, then turn left at light at Mack Smith Rd. & go for 1/2 mile (see signs). Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga is on the right.
Absolutely the best overnight campground we’ve been to! Paved roads and very long parking spots. Easy in and out and customer service was awesome! Our dogs give the dog park two paws up… we’ve never been to a dog park with pee gravel. Nice and clean and very easy to scoop the poop. We definitely will put this on our list of places to return… for more than one night for sure!
The staff at this resort are really special. Helpful, accomodating and friendly. The sites are well situated and most are shaded. We had no difficulty leveling our small camper. There are ample bathrooms. The showers are somewhat small but functional and very clean. There is a large, well lit laundry room and a beautiful swimming pool. The downside is the neighborhood of East Ridge, which consists of mediocre fast food restaurants and industrial parks. It's not really even convenient to downtown. Other than where this park is situated, it is a wonderful facility that I highly recommend.
We have used this rv park for the second time in our travel to Florida or return trip. It is very convenient , right off 75. The reception is friendly, and makes is easy to make reservation over the phone. Usually we pull in after the office is closed but the info is available. Clean, secure, pull-through space where we can leave the truck hooked to the rv for a simple leave the next morning. We really appreciate this Travel Park.
Their check-in, reservations suck on the weekends. I understand someone in the office turns off the phones so you cannot talk to anyone
Because they do not want to be bothered. Other wise clean, easy to get to
And set up. If I run into the phone problem again, I'll start using RV parks locally to this park. This problem is not a isolated incident. I left messages three times for a return call on 1/6/2024 and 1/7/2024 which were never returned! I was able to talk to a very nice lady to correct the problem on 1/8/2024. This post is for the RV park.
Ok for an overnight stay. Bathrooms were clean but you could not regulate the shower water temp. The sites were gravel with full hookups but narrow. Most were pull through. Not much to do, pool looked nice but closed for the season. Tiny play scape for small kids, small fenced in dog park. Shuffleboard had the picnic tables on it, pad for the one basketball hoop was uneven and torn up. No place to really walk around. The tent sites were all together in a space between 2 gravel streets.
