A great state park. Lots of interesting facts about Davy Crockett and the recreation of the homestead is great. The donkeys are adorable. ☺️❤️

Went on a little road trip Feb. 16. Ended up here. Talked to a ranger who was very polite and helpful. Fished along the river and at the ramp for a couple hours. Lost more at the bank then I pulled out and I pulled out three over 14". Don't worry they are still there. Very clean restrooms and grounds. Like I told the ranger when I saw him again on the way out. I'll be back probably with my son or granddaughter or both. May even bring the tent it's so quiet. Keep up the good work whoever's doing it. Thanks.

Wonderful time. Our family loves going. Beautiful hiking trails, nice park for our little to play, literary trail is our babies favoite. Very cool history here to. We having went camping but the campground looks very nice. Also have a nice area to have a birthday party.

We loved the Two weeks we spent at the park. The hosts are friendly, the park is well maintained, the views are spectacular, the river is nice, and the weather in September/October is PERFECT!

Great little park off the beaten path. Good hiking trails that are relatively easy, except for the loop that has some elevation that overlooks the river, due to uneven footing and some slight elevation. Park itself was very clean, Park Personnel were very friendly and helpful, would recommend to visit here if you want to get outdoors and learn a little history at the same time
