There are 9 modern cabins/units with running water, kitchens, and bathrooms. The modern cabins offer complete kitchens with dishes, pans, bath towels and washcloths. Our largest unit, The Cameron, sleeps up to 14 people, it boasts 5 queen beds and 2 hide-a-bed couches, this unit is 1,800 sq ft. The resort offers 80 RV sites and 14 tent sites, some are accessed by crossing a footbridge onto an island that is a part of the resort. There is a bath house with pay-showers centrally located amongst these sites on the mainland. There is an outdoor events pavillion with a full kitchen and a playground. This all sits along the scenic Cache La Poudre River.
At center of town on Hwy-14.
We stopped for luch at the restaurant. Very easy to get a wheelchair in! LOVED IT! A must stop on the drive through! Snapped a picture of a rare to see payphone. Thank you Miss Michael for making us feel at home and Miss Cook for a wonderful meal. HUUUUUUGSES!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤
I got the Green Chili Smothered Burrito with Grilled Chicken, Cheddar Cheese, Black Beans, Spanish Rice, and a side of Lettuce, Tomato, and Sour Cream. My dad got the Mountain Burger with Pepper Jack and Sweet Potato Fries. Good local brews on tap as well. Your popular choices from New Belgium and Odell, to your cheaper draft options as well. We got two India Pale Ales. For dessert, a slice of Fruit of the Forrest pie alamode with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Everything was made to perfection. Will be returning again soon. There's something about a small mountain town restaurant that has way more attention to detail, and quality than your average chain restaurant.
What a great drop in lunch experience! The Beef Barley soup was amazing and great sweet potato fries! Really neat gift shop and Miss Michael was such a great and friendly server.
100% recommend!
You won't be disappointed if you make the drive!
I absolutely love love love this place! Been coming here for quite awhile now and I have never been disappointed. Delicious food five star customer service and I always enjoy chatting with the lady. It's a must stop anytime I'm up the canyon fishing or hunting.
My wife and I worked here from May- October. The restaurant did a strong business, and the Poudre Pub was a neat little bar to grab a drink or some food. Saturday night Karaoke was a blast. The resort is located on the scenic Cache la Poudre River. The resort offers a cool little island with tent camping sites, about 50-60 full hookup RV sites and a dozen or more Cabins for rent. Beware that the cabins on the water don’t have water or restrooms but they have a clean bathhouse close
