Beutiful place with plenty of room, lots of people but enough room to get away from them and still enjoy the view, lots of stars at night with no light pollution. Great for paddle boarding, Kyacking, swimming and boating in warm water. I deducted a star because the rv dump station has been down for a few years, with as many Rvs that visit this sight you would think that they would be able to afford to fix it.

It is difficult to find words to describe this place. Some that come to mind are spectacular, magnificent, and amazing! The best way to see the Lake Powell is by houseboat but see it anyway you can.

I've been coming to Lake Powell since I was a baby. Now I take my kids. We usually take a houseboat and my dad pilots it. We've also camped with ski boats and that was fun too. If you're able to set out on your adventure on a weekday you'll beat the crowds and be able to spend more time on the water. The sunsets, desert breeze, and warm water are amazing at Powell.

Rented a houseboat down here for a few days. Very pretty scenery, opportunities for camping, fishing, and hiking too. At certain times it can be a bit crowded and hard to find a spot to park a boat, but usually it's not a problem.

Beautiful views; I didn't go out on the water, just viewed from the edge. There's a Glen Canyon overlook you can pull into and go down some stairs to see it closer. The stairs are a little treacherous and can be slick due to sand. There's a rail to hold onto but it can be a little steep. If that's not of interest you can go to another point to view the beauty or go as close to the edge without going down the trail to see the beautiful landscape. Other viewpoints may need payment to enter during certain hours.
