Campsite: Glen Canyon NRA BLM Dispersed Camping — Glen Canyon National Recreation Area
I've been coming to Lake Powell since I was a baby. Now I take my kids. We usually take a houseboat and my dad pilots it. We've also camped with ski boats and that was fun too. If you're able to set out on your adventure on a weekday you'll beat the crowds and be able to spend more time on the water. The sunsets, desert breeze, and warm water are amazing at Powell.

Campsite: Panguitch Lake
This was my first ice fishing experience and as miserable as ice fishing is, I had a really good time. It was completely frozen over and the fish were biting. I quickly caught 4 trout under 15 inches and the rest of our group had similar luck. The views are beautiful and the other fishermen were friendly.
