This is a very nice free campground that would typically cost at least $20 per day. The road and parking pads are paved and there's a restroom and dishwashing area. Although most site pads are fairly short, I was able to fit my 35' overall rig in sites 2 and 16.
During my stay, 90 percent of the campers arrived early evening and departed early morning so the campground was empty each day. I did not have any AT&T data.
Note, stay limit is 7 days per year.
Free campsite with a nice bathroom (flushing toilet and running water sink). Men’s side was heated. Women’s side had a broken heater. Grill at every site. Stayed in March and woke up to a layer of snow! Arrive earlier to ensure a spot. Would stay here again!!
Great spot great view trails and outlooks nearby. Clean bathroom and sinks for washing dishes. The only thing is that it doesn’t have showers but other than that it’s a really great site and it’s free.
What a wonderful place to camp! Great sites, and there is a hike to an ancient ruin too. Bathrooms are clean, no showers. We even cooked hot dogs on the provided grill.
Beautiful and convenient. Nice canyon views and sunsets. It’s 7280 feet altitude, so very cold and sometimes snowy in winter.
Heated bathrooms and visitor center. Snowed trail. Canton view side of the camping was closed Feb-24.
