Staying here is affordable and convenient if you you plan a long hike in the canyon. The Bright Angel trailhead is nearby so you can start early without a great deal of drive time. The showers were very relaxing after hiking all day. The elk were entertaining to watch while we cooked and ate dinner in the campground. It was also nice to have restrooms available at night.

Very convenient to everything in the park. Had Elk roaming through the campground everyday. Fall (October) was a great time to go. Still lots of people but I’m sure there’s less than summertime.

RV park has lots of spaces. We stayed on the paved side. They don’t issue you a space until arrival so you don’t get to choose which space you get. Wish it had a few more trees for shade.

I like this location and chose it for full hookups and proximity to the south rim trails.

I booked it a year ago to travel here from Massachusetts

The only reason I give it a one star is on arrival we had no picnic table .? 50+ years camping don’t think I ever arrived to a site with no table.

Also the bathrooms on the far right ( 100) section is closed but you don’t get to pick a site either

The lack of response to the issue is also the reason for the one star review.

They told me at the office “ it takes 2 weeks to fix things here “

Views and wildlife was amazing saw some elk every day it’s worth it to stay here just be prepared if things not as planned

Wonderful stay! Met by elk as we pulled in and enjoyed watching them graze and rest during our entire stay! Level sites and clean campground. So convenient to the park because the shuttle comes right to the campground. Would definitely stay again.

We chose Trailer Park Village in Grand Canyon National Park for its’ proximity to the trails, shuttle system, and other park features. It was money well spent. The park is pristine and staff drove by often, keeping it that way. The bathrooms were clean, water was hot. Check in was a breeze and the staff were super helpful about best places to catch the best views. We had a great time here and would stay again.
