Love the new management at this park! Super friendly and keep up with all the rule enforcement which is a big thing for me and my family. And they keep adding more and more nice amenities for us to use. Much improved from the last owners/managers. Location is really good and they are putting brand new homes in. Glad we made the move.
Indiscriminately Towing Resident's Car in Friendly Village of Arlington
I have been a resident here in Friendly Village of Arlington for many years. Years ago, I signed a contract with the manager that I can park in the office parking lot, and even if my parking lot was full, my friends could park in the office parking lot; as long as it was not parked overnight. Unfortunately, on May 11, 2022, when I was constructing a roof for the driveway, I parked my car in the office parking lot. However, they towed my car and charged a $317 towing fee even though it is a resident vehicle. I had to talk about the previous contract, and it spent me a lot of time. Finally, they didn't charge the towing fee thanks to manager Tammy, but I had to run up to get the towing parking right away even though I was very busy. It is not the first time I have had this issue. A few months ago, my friend came to my house, and he parked in my parking lot for about 30 minutes, and they towed his car also.
I am very disappointed with how they works indiscriminately. They obviously did the wrong thing without apology. I hope Friendly Village of Arlington fixes the way they work and becomes more friendly as what its name is!!!
This new group of investors that bought our community SPIKED the rent price TRIPLE than what previous owners have done.
I've been here since 2007, back when rent was 325$ for the LOT. Before this new company took over, my rent was 760, now it's in the 950s for the same lot ive had since '07.
Justification? Somewhere along the lines of "matching market price" or something like that.
If you're think about moving here, you may as well get a house, you'll be paying close to a mortgage with our current prices. Cost of rent was one of the biggest advantages of living in a mobile home.. but not since this new company took over.
Gotta give credit where it's due; they did re-coat our roads with black tar, and repaint the signs and unit numbers, but I feel like that should be periodically done anyways as general maintenance.
Two residents have pulled their Mobile home since the rent increase. Surely there are more to do the same!
The property manager Cynthia it’s really rude and hateful she be calling the towing company on purpose to get cars towed just because she don’t like an individual and be doing illegal paperwork to take advantage of the residents I wonder if that’s one of reason why a lot of people are selling or moving their mobile homes. The second reason would be that ever since she got here the l rent and fees went up. It’s not even worth living here anymore!!
nice area to live in, but management is trash! manager Cynthia is very rude and has a nasty attitude towards the tenants. We are paying monthly for a "security" that we don't even have on the property.
