Rooms were not even prepared for guests. Faucet hadn't been installed on the shower yet, ladder to the loft is straight up and down and not deep enough to put your feet in, the tv's hadn't been plugged in to the wall or even to the antenna. I normally just chock something like this into Growing pains until they called me and wanted to charge me for supposed smoking in their building and accused me of removing their smoke detectors.
It’s a cozy place for family and friends to get together. Cabins and tents are great felt bad for the owner when me and my family stayed she was having to deal with a couple of problematic groups that also stayed there and they were not clean nor respectful to the conditions of staying in a nice campground like that but she took care of the problem before it affected my fun with my family. All around great place and gonna come back soon.
I have brought my fiancé here numerous times for a getaway, and the staff has been nothing short of amazing! We are so appreciative of the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower area, as we prefer primitive camping. The owner has consistently went above and beyond for us! She recommended great spot for our tent, and even called us during one of our stays to warn us that there was a potential for severe storms and offered us shelter. We absolutely will continue to visit this beautiful area! The renovations and focus on the environment are a breath of fresh air! My fiancé and I cannot wait to see how the resort continues to grow!
I contacted Coastal Country for a cabin rental to be near family for a visit, and they went above and beyond for me! The owner told me that it is off-season, but made all of the amenities available for use, even offering the laundry room for use. I have been blown away by the hospitality and the great interactions that I have had with all the staff! It was going to be very cold one of the nights of my stay and the owner herself brought me heaters and extra blankets for my stay, I didn’t even have to ask! I love how family friendly and just absolutely gorgeous the property is! It was wonderful to be able to sit and watch the deer right out the cabin windows while I was enjoying my morning coffee. I have recommended Coastal Country to all of my friends and I cannot wait for our stay in April!
