The off road trails and forest service roads are amazing! Wish it was a little easier to find a Forest Ranger. Be respectful and pack put what you pack in, we have cleaned up so many camping spots, it's quite sad that a great camp is ruined by trash left. If you're disperse camping clean up. Always leave a place in better shape than when you found it. Shooting can be a lot of fun, just pick up the shells. Glass bottles are not something you take camping!

I really never thought our trip here was gonna be as good as it was. But I was so wrong. This place is awsome the views, the river and the food at Mishawaka was as good as the service. I highly recommend you go there when you can. Granted some of the trails are closed but still plenty to see. Get there before it snows cause it looks like it could get bad in Winter. Must see

This place is amazing and there is so much to do here and the hikes are great! There's a bunch of camping areas and rivers and wildlife. Not to mention that the colors in the fall are spectacular! Make sure you get here early of you want to beat the crowd. It's not a secret anymore.

These were two of many pics taken from our roomette on Amtrak. The ride from Chicago to Reno, NV afforded us many breathtaking scenes. There are literally hundreds of photo ops on this trip!
