We had a reservation here with 3 others one had a heart emergency and had to leave high altitude. We tried to get a refund 2 days before our reservation, they cannot do it need 14 days to cancel billed us full $297. Do not stay here do not make advance reservations her do not stay at sun resorts.

Got here and everything is closed down. No warning before coming that everything would be shut down. I was told the entire county shuts down after Labor Day and I should have known that October is considered “out of season”.

I totally understand a pool getting closed, but indoor amenities (arcade etc) does not make sense to be closed.

This campsite is much more expensive than any other — because of the amenities. You either need to drop the price significantly or call/email before someone’s stay and explicitly state what is open / closed.

I called the office to let them know this feels like a bait and switch, and the response was “you should have known, the whole county shuts down after Labor Day”. We are not from this county and can’t read minds.
