Great site right by the beach. Clean facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
Close to everything that Galveston has to offer.
Will definitely stay again!
The campground was very clean.The Beach was very clean. The chek-in people Were VERY WONDERFUL and accommodating because they gave us early check-in with no problems what so ever.The campground is also pet friendly.My family was able to enjoy there self as well as me and my husband. We would definitely come back.
The campground is clean and right on the beach. The bath house is clean and really nice. The woman behind the counter has been very friendly and helpful. The campsites are plenty big so you don't feel like you're right on top of a neighbor. Wish I could stay longer.
This is a great park but they have recently changed their pricing so that the last minute people who book get rookiedooed on the price to camp. Even those booking 12 months ahead that happen to be the 36th person that day to book for the same date as others gets rookiedooed. The Park Board has decided to do “dynamic pricing” on top of a recent 10% hike in prices. Once the park starts filling up they jack up the prices for the unfortunate people booking after others. The campground is wonderfully located right on the beach but that is all they offer. No pool, hot tub, playground, or other amenities that compensate for the hikes. It is not fair to charge me one price and charge someone else, for the same dates and location, a higher or lower price. The Park board director says they’ll revisit the pricing if enough people complain so everyone planning to go please do so.
Beautiful simple no frills campground on the Gulf! Grounds are very clean, sites are well spaced with concrete pads. Laundry and bathroom/shower. facilities are kept immaculate. We were in site 49....had a small path to walk to beach. We could hear the waves all day and night. Staff goes above and beyond to help and assist you. Most definitely will the ONLY place in Galveston for us to stay.
