Bathrooms were gross, neighborhood was sketch, and the guy lied about the price... said oh your coming in late..." No worries, park in the site and come pay me 30 in the morning... was 40 in the morning. Overpriced at 30 a night, let alone 40.
Good place to stay. We’re pretty much self contained so as long as we’ve got the hook ups that’s pretty much all we need. This place has onsite laundry and game room with pool table. Maintenance guys always seem to be busy fixing and maintaining sites. There’s grass and trees which I understand isn’t the norm in the area. They even host Friday night potlucks although we didn’t attend. Mail was easy to receive and someone was always around if I had questions.
Great place to stay. Quite and well maintained. Clean bathrooms. Will stay here again. Owners are the Best. Highly recommend.
Convenient to Del Rio, Amistad National Recreation site. The bathhouses could use updating. The sites are close to each other but have privacy fencing between which helps. Lots of dirt for sites, a couple loads of gravel would go a long way. We had a rain storm come through and had lots of mud. Many puddles still not dry around the bathhouse. We used the laundry and it was fine.
We showed up here looking for an RV site while we had repairs made. $40 seems high since we've used to campgrounds owned by the government but I really appreciated the modern laundromat and hot showers. The proximity to town was a big plus too. There are shade trees and beautiful cactus specimens. It was quiet.
