We love this place, right across from the Gulf of Mexico it is just beautiful. The sunsets and sunrises are breathe taking. Their lazy river and other attractions are fun. We will not stay anywhere else when go to Galveston, even the dogs love it.

Overall we loved this park and are glad we stayed. We do plan to come back. Everyone was very friendly and the place is cool with lots of fun things to do for kids and adults alike. My only complaints:

The roads are way too small and the turns are way too tight. When we booked, the employee never asked about the length of our rig, so she put us in a spot that was too small. We tried several times to get in, but couldn't because of the tight turn and rigs on every side of us (and one rig that was sticking out too far). We moved to a different spot and asked if we could stay there and it worked out better. Now I know which spots to request for easy pull through. The pools were a little dirty the first day, but clearly someone cleaned them because they looked much better after that. The staff did seem to have a few communication issues, but they were still very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our time there and we will return.

Looks like a nice place to stay with kids. There are lots to do on property, but sites are really small. All pull thru site with all the hookups. Price is pretty steep for no room.

This place was great, the staff amazing, and every bit as good as it looks from the pictures. Drove over 1500 miles to spend a week here, and it was well worth the drive. The lazy river is as great as it looks (my daughter calls it the amazing river), the indoor pool heated nicely, and there are so many small amenities not listed in reviews or on the website. Absolutely immaculate. if you're on the fence, do it!

We stayed for a month due to the price discount. December and January are very windy so be prepared. Sites are larger and mostly level, grounds are kept manicured and clean. Note outdoor pool/slides close in late November but there is an indoor pool and hot-tub (not in very good condition) Workout room smells like wet dog and the equipment is old and rusted, laundry has quiet a few out of order machines and doesn't seem to be cleaned very often. The park definitely needs a facelift as well as better ventilation!
