Creekside Glamping and Camping only 9 miles from Zion National Park. Heated Glamping Tents and Spacious Private Campsites on 53 acres of natural desert landscapes and riparian habitat. Just far enough from the crowds for an unrushed and quiet camping experience.
Located just off Kolob Terrace Road at mile marker 2. The road we are located on continues, after the property, up to 8000' elevation at Lava Point, an overlook in Zion National Park providing a tremendous overhead view of the entirety of Zion. On the drive past our property the road passes through desert, riparian, pinyon-juniper, and conifer woodlands. Multiple uncrowded trails are accessible along the road, including the trail to Kolob Arch, the 6th longest natural arch in the world.
All sites on our property are creek side and provide afternoon shade. Lush vegetation straddles a year around flowing creek.
Our campsites are widely spaced to maximize privacy. We have 53 acres and only 4 tent sites and 2 glamping tents! Multiple trails leave right from our property that lead to sweeping views, a tunnel and desert solitude.
Accessible activities off Kolob Terrace Road includes West Rim Trail, Lava Point Overlook, Wildcat Canyon Trail, Kolob Reservoir & a ton more.
Just after Mile Marker 2 on Kolob Terrace Road.
Quiet place outside of Zion. Can be a bit dusty for tents. Bathrooms are well keep.
Great little spot to camp and access both the bike trails and the little creek. Super quiet (even on the night of Red Bull Rampage), amazingly clear sky.
A laid-back Campground with a shower and porta potties. It's in a beautiful location right next to a stream. It's conveniently located just outside of Zion. It made a great base for going both to the park and other nearby beautiful trails. The other side of the creek at flooded and also it appeared to have a damaged the footbridge, so that part of the campground is not currently available. The side that we were on was in good shape and lovely. I recommend it.
For the price, this place is a great and convenient location to camp near Zion. All water is trucked in, you have to bring your own drinking water. They gave us a free bundle of firewood. I know this sounds weird, but they had the nicest/cleanest port-a-potty I had ever seen. A small amount of campsites. Plenty of port-a-potties. One shower and one dishwashing station. The shower is very charming for a shower fed by 55 gallon drums of water: follow usage instructions posted because otherwise the water is scalding! Just FYI: don't have wet hands when you flip the on/off water switch in the dish washing station. If your hands are wet, you will get an electric shock. At night, there are small solar powered lights that line the campsite roads, providing both lighting and a beautiful atmosphere like.
Awesome hip camp next to running creek with friendly co-hosts Matt & Travis. Also several glamping sites over the wooden bridge. Super clean porta potty. No potable water. Super close to Lambs Knoll climbing site and to the Left Fork North creek trailhead into Zion NPS Subway. There is occasional 4 legged visitors e.g. cattle and even a bison. Was a bit windy in evening so bring a camp stove shield.
