Barry & his family sure know how to give you a taste of Louisiana while making you feel part of the family. There is plenty of room for just you or your entire family, even RV space. The view is beautiful, especially in the early morning, and there is a very nice gift shop for you to browse.

Don’t just pass by Crawfish Haven/Mrs. Rose’s B&B, stop on by.

My family and I are from the area and we use Crawfish Haven as our home base. Barry provides amazing hospitality, delicious authentic food, and a unique experience in this Cajun hideaway.

This hidden gem in Kaplan is amazing. Beautiful rooms filled with antique furnishings. You feel safe and at home here with Barry. It’s quiet, peaceful…a place to get right with your soul, sitting out on his pier…, his cooking is the best. He is a kind, brilliant and fun guy to hang out with. Enjoyed his stories, seeing his beautiful place and hanging out with him. As a woman staying anywhere alone can be scary, not here I felt completely safe..I love this place, him and his sister treat you like family ❤️and I highly recommend staying or going out on a crawfish tour…, best thing in Kaplan..Crawfish Haven, Mrs. Rose’s Bed and Breakfast.

An awesome way to experience Cajun hospitality and all things crawfish all in one place. Barry is an outstanding host - and equally gifted as a chef! A must-do for any Louisiana visit.

Lived in Louisiana for almost 2 decades and this might have been one of the most interesting and fun days I have ever had in the state! Barry runs an incredible operation and there is no doubt we will be back. We would recommend this to anyone. We did the crawfish excursion and it was a perfect day activity for our family (kids 3 and 6, but would be great for any age). Can’t thank Barry enough for a beautiful family memory!
