From East or Westbound into Alamosa, take Hwy 285 South.
Turn left (East) on 7th Street. Go 1 block and you have reached Cool Sunshine RV Park.
From South on Hwy 285 take 7th Street, turn right (East) after Sunset Park. Go 1 block.
Our stay at Cool Sunshine RV Park was perfect! I want to especially recognize "Shirley", who guided our check-in and orientation. Everything in the park was clean and tidy, and of course has a fresh look given its recent vintage. My only regret - it was too cold outside to practice on the golf putting green. ;)
This is a great RV park. Easy to get to and close to the main part of town. Well maintained and friendly staff. The site feels very secure and safe. However, drag racing just outside the park until late into the night and early morning trains running just outside the fence make for an rough night. Nothing the owners can do, but beware. I would stay here again.
RV Park... worked out perfectly for us. We were passing thru, just an overnight stop. There were restaurants and bars within walking distance so no need to disconnect our towed. We didn't hook up to water or sewer to facilitate a quicker get-away in the morning therefore we used the restrooms at the park. They may have been the nicest and cleanest restrooms we've ever experienced in an RV park. The park is very clean, it felt secure, and Shirley in the office was super friendly and helpful.
This RV park was great! The bathrooms were THE CLEANEST bathrooms I've ever seen at an RV Park. The facilities were all beautiful. They had nicely manicured grass in between spots and a few fun games in the back. There was a small fenced area for dogs as well. Our dog is big so it was a little small for us but we could still play tug and have some fun in there. The park’s location was fantastic in terms of walkability. Easy walking to downtown restaurants and shops. We will be staying here every time we are in town!
This place is awesome! The Club House is super nice and modern. Laundry, fitness room, sink, huge activity room and lots of nice outdoor sitting areas. The sites are huge allowing privacy. The location is perfect for walking to the store and driving to the Great Sand Dunes. Most importantly, the owners were so friendly and welcoming. I definitely will stay again.
