Wonderful place to park our RV for a week, just outside Alamosa, Colorado. Spacious pull through campsite. Bathrooms (4) are large and perfect for showers. Laundry facilities.

We have been staying here off and on since 2021 as well as using their storage area. The owner and hosts have always been great to us. The bath house has 4 large bathrooms with showers. They also have washers and dryers. The sites are a good size, and we always have a nice time here. We hope in the future they decide to add a playground for the lil' kiddos and a basketball court for the older kiddos.
Basecamp is a no frills campground with everything needed for RV or tent campers visiting the San Luis Valley. Nice, clean, modern showers and laundry, and super large full hookup RV sites. No contact check in is convenient, plus camp hosts on site to assist you if needed. Beautiful views in every direction.
The web site claims are true! The reservations were easy, the location is great, the campsites are huge and well maintained, the full hook-ups are perfect and the bath house has 4 individual full bathrooms with great showers, sinks & toilet and are cleaned daily! The camp host is very responsive and pleasant. The camp is located in the Alpine Valley, which is a high elevation desert, there are almost no trees in the area and the camp reflects its environment. This is a great place to stay!
