From Ft. Garland, go 2.5 miles east on HWY 160 to Trinchera Ranch Road; then 2 miles south to Icehouse Road; then 1 mile west to north entrance. Or, continue 1 mile south to south entrance.
Camping by the lake was so beautiful and the fishing was excellent. We love that we don't have people on kioks and boards going over your lines when fishing. Loved every day spent here.
