From El Paso: Take I-10 to Exit 8 (Artcraft Rd). Go west 10 miles to Hwy. 9. Go west (R) on Hwy 9 (just before Santa Teresa port of entry), and go 60 miles to Columbus, NM. Once you are in Columbus, go north on Hwy 11 3/4 mile, and park is on the R. From Deming: Go south on Highway 11. Campground is on the left as you enter Columbus.
$1 for wash and$1 to dry on highest heat setting. Smaller dryers have money jam and can't use at all. This is public laundry for the town.
this a good spot to stop if they have a space opened but they usually pretty full as there for two days but didn't have power so I couldn't remain in the stickers all over the ground or really hard on my dog otherwise they're wonderful people therethat's certainly the first people I'd check with if I were going to stay in the area.
Beautiful NM state park with desert landscaping and excellent museum illustrating the Pancho Villa invasion. Great friendly hosts and rangers. Just minutes away from the Mexican border which makes it handy for dentist and other shopping.
I came to do Laundry. Dollar per wash, quarter dryers, but that takes a few quarters to dry. The park is quiet. If you want to have a shower, there ars 2 stalls with quarter machines for water.
Lots of spices, old hookups washer and dryer room, showers, plenty of trees for shade. It's close to town and has a monthly rate. It also has a pool within walking distance charges $2 per person. In a very friendly community.
