Mountain Valley Lodge & RV Park was a great place to spend a couple of nights in our RV. My wife and I thought we'd spend a night there before exploring Cave Creek for birding. We ended up coming back for a second night. A couple of days earlier I had left a message inquiring about a stay there. Dan returned my call very quickly and was most helpful in planning our stay. He greeted us when we pulled in directed us to our spot. Even though it is close to Highway 80, it is very quiet at night and a beautiful location. The full hookups were especially nice since we will be boondocking for a few nights after our stay. If you are looking to stay in a cabin, they have those too! I recommend a stay with Mountain Valley Lodge and RV.

I called and the guy who answered was very rude. I asked if they had a room because they show up as a hotel on Google. He got nasty with me and hung up the phone because it was late. Hotels are open 24/7 and if you don't want phone calls at night, don't list yourself as a hotel.

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Cowboy room. The room was cozy, with lots of special touches (love all the lamps), nestled in a little oasis in the desert. The owner Dan was welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to a return visit.
