Love it here! Nice folks. Checked in after hours. Convenient after hours instructions and drop box beside the office which is open 2-5pm M-F except bank holidays.

Lots of maneuvering space for my long rig and parking, too in the generous pull-through sites.

Some shade trees beside the rv. Large unisex shower rooms oversized and compatible for small family accommodation.

Nice lounge/rec room opposite laundry adjacent to a beautiful shaded, green courtyard.

Felt very secure away from Deming, I 10, and the main railroad. I could hear a train whistle, but it was not loud. No interstate traffic noise all night! A rooster crowing at a farm nearby woke my husband, but did not wake me.

Price is very good seemed lower and a lot less crowded than parks in town where all the noise is.

5R Travel Center has a cafe with a decent menu, the food was perfect. We were able to pull into a special rv gas island.

If your rig is like ours, you can pull into Griffin's Gas across the street and they'll gladly top up your cooking gas.

It was easy to resume our trip west with I 10 entrance right off the street (Gold or 180).

All these locations are within short distances from one another on a four lane street.

There is a Walgreens, Walmart, and many restaurants, too.

To get to Desert Vista from I-10, go north on Gold ot 180. After 5RTravel Center turn right onto HWY 26 towards Hatch. Desert Vista will quickly appear on the right or south side of the highway.

Nice level spaces, trees between spaces. Water pressure high enough to exfoliate your skin! Not sure if it was the owner of the manager that I spoke with, but made check in very easy for me contactless. And it is under $26 per night. Far enough outside of town not to deal with the hustle and bustle.but close enough if you were want to run in and get something to eat or go to Walmart it's a hop skip and a jump. I'm just staying overnight passing through not really sure what the town has to offer. But would definitely stay here if traveling the same direction on a return trip.

As always facts first then opinion. We stayed just one night but it was easy in and out. It is right on the highway so there is some traffic sound. No matter what I did I could not get their water spigot not to leak. The wind blew a gale and the office lady says it always does. Opinion. Price was fair for what you get but you have to drive a ways for everything. There's a restaurant on site that we didn't try. We would stay again for one night but it's not a place to camp for a while.
