Imagine waking up to the beautiful view of Pikes Peak (14,115 feet above sea level), the most visited mountain in North America. Visit Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds (try the Bat-a-Pult ride!), and other area attractions. Stay in a fully equipped Cabin, pitch a tent or pull into an RV Site (including extra-large sites). If you are planning a rally or family reunion, this KOA has a hall for those scrumptious potlucks or have them catered by the staff. During the summer, enjoy our splash park, take a dip in the heated pool, or relax in the hot tub. Pets will have a great time being with their families, meeting new dogs, running in the dog park, or trying out the agility park. With so many things to do at KOA and in the area, you will want to stay as long as you can! The campground staff looks forward to seeing you. Pool: Open Year Round. Max pull thru 80 feet.

My fiancé and I found this place for our trip to Colorado and it was a great experience! The cabins are very clean and well kept. Great, cozy feel to them. The worker when we checked in was helpful & kind. Great location, close to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. It’s on the south side of town too which is nice if you’re trying to reach Cañon City and Royal Gorge. 4 stars though because the hot tub and cabin interiors were a bit dated. Worth the money, good value!
Overall it has been very nice. The spot we reserved with a deposit was not available when we arrived. We were told it had electrical issues. However, upon getting to the new spot they gave us we could see the spot we reserved had a large 5th wheel hooked up to power, water and sewer. They didn't have to lie. It would've been more appropriate to admit the fact they rented our spot out from under us which was very obvious.
On a positive note, they do very well with activities for children and adults, very nice people and very clean park. I would definitely recommend it overall. Just didn't appreciate being lied to.
Wow! This place is a hidden gem. Great views, friendly staff, clean camp ground, cool place to take kids lots to do here and it's right down the road from everything you need but far enough away to be "outside of the city". Great stay!
What a nice location. The camp is kept clean and everyone has a decent amount of space in between the campers. Beautiful views surrounds the camp ground. So many activities year round to keep you and your family busy. Can't wait to come back I'm the warmer months. The office is loaded with souvenirs and camp essentials. Forgot to get firewood? No problem!!! They sell bundles up at the front. Check in process was super easy and the map is easy to read.
You can't go wrong with camping at a KOA. Normally we camp in our little pop-up camper but tent camped this time around. The tent sites are so nice. They are covered to give you extra protection and shade for your tent. The pool and water park are so much fun for kids. The water temperature on the other side was freezing. My kids would have played forever if the water wasn't freezing. The pool was also "heated" I would say it was warmer than the water park but still pretty cold of a heated swimming pool. The bathroom and store area were very clean. They also provide a ton of activities for kids and families. Definitely a place to check out but I hope the water will be a little warmer for your trip.
