Wonderful! Peaceful, beautiful. Great location to be away from downtown but still close enough to get there in a few minutes for dinner at the sagebrush.
We just came home from staying at Moose Trackss Manor after vacationing with our 4 adult children. We had a wonderful time...the cabin is beautiful and is in a great location with close proximity to the park and other activities. This cabin is fully stocked, warm and comfortable...seeing the wildlife (moose and her baby, fox and lots of birds) on the property was the icing on the cake. We were so excited to go for a car ride after dinner every night in the park to see all the elk, deer and moose. There was always wildlife to see! We also enjoyed watching a movie at night (good selection) and playing Mille Bornes which was a treat to find in the selection of games. We were busy all week with hiking, walks, horse rides and even rode in a 4-person ATV which has great trails and beautiful scenery. All of these activities are so close to the cabin and we felt very spoiled here....the only thing negative thing I can say about our stay (which I cannot fault on the owner) is that the next door neighbor was having his cabin sand blasted and restained. There was also other construction going on that we could hear. There were a few times that we had to go inside because of the noise. But aside from that, we litetally spent most of our time outside on the back porch, deck, dock and rowing around the lake in the canoe. Moose Tracks Manor is a wonderful place for a vacation and we had a wonderful time. Thank you to the owners who called to check on us and thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us. Sincerely, The Kardenetz Family (Nashville, TN)
The Moose Tracks Manor was more than what we were expecting! We loved the attention to detail and all of the information we received. Our first morning we saw a young moose in the back and then two nights in a row we had a red fox hanging out in the back. Winterpark isn't far and we went snowmobileing with Grand Adventures and Horseback riding at Sombrero Ranch at Snow Mountain. We drove through the Rocky Mountain National Forest a few times and loved that it was around the corner. We did some shopping in beautiful Grand Lake and hiked up to Adam's Falls. Wonderful time for our daughters (6,2 1/2, & 6 months) and us! We definitely plan on coming back to Colorado from Texas and Moose Tracks Manor is at the top of our list. Thank you Rod & Jill for sharing your little piece of heaven on earth with us!
I was looking for a cabin for the family just to get away and relax for the forth of July and we're glad we choose Moose Tracks Manor. This cabin has everything you need from boats to fishing poles and an abundance of wildlife. My husband and grandson caught lots of trout and the boat was a nice touch, they had a blast. My mother enjoyed the swing and her daily visit from the Moose and baby. Make sure to fill the Hummingbird feeders if needed, it's worth it. Our family really enjoyed it here. Thank you so much Rod for sharing your home with my family. The memories we'll have for years to come are priceless.
