In Almont, CO, at intersection of State Rt. 135 and County Rt. 742, take Rt. 742 for 23.3 miles to intersection of Forest Rts. 742 and 765. Continue straight on Rt. 742 for another 3.7 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
Great campsite very secluded. Camp Hosts were awesome and even gave us a can opener for our dinner that we forgot to pack. (of course) The view is 360 and absolutely gorgeous. There are a lot of ATVs here if you are looking for peace and quiet, its not obnoxious but expect them to be around.
Overall, great place to stay!
We camped there twice and only
shared the campground with the host and his dog. Primitive camping with great views and good fishing.
