The Divide Forks Campground sits at 9200-foot elevation. There are 11 campsites with a maximum spur length is 20 feet.
To access this campground, travel south on the Divide Road 8.8 miles from the Northern Forest Boundary to the Northern Bittle Loop Trailhead. The Bittle Loop Trail forks left (east) off the Divide Road less than 1/10 mile to the north of the Divide Road/Uranium Road intersection.
We were riding ATVs with friends and stopped there to eat lunch. Beautiful up there. Bees liked our food too.
Beautiful campground. Sites are well spaced apart. Latrine toilets, no trash but it’s quite remote and free/first come first serve.
I loved everything except some campers that ran their generator all night.
The parks where beautiful but there was no trash cans anywhere! Still really a great place!
