Beautiful local state park. Tons of hiking. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of camping and picnic opportunities. Overlooks the city. Fantastic sunrises if you do camp there. Nice visitors center as well with general souvenirs.

Well marked trails. Beautiful views of small valleys or expansive vistas of Fort Carson and Colorado Springs.

Great trails for family hikes and MTB rides for a variety of skill levels.

Very informative information signs and helpful staff.

I frequently ride my bike here. I also purchased my hunting and fishing licenses from this location.

Nice campground with clean facilities. Very quiet with the exception of occasional helicopter overflights and some explosions in the distance from Fort Carson (minus 1 star - woke me up).

The campground is very well maintained, and the site I had was nice and level. The shower house was clean and well lit, with nice warm showers and clean toilets. There aren't many big trees by the camp sites, just some scrub oak, so be prepared for minimal shade.

Would stay again.

We had an excellent time! Super cheap campsites for what you get. There are clean showers and bathrooms within walking distance of the campground. Also, there is running water beside each site. The hiking trails are BEAUTIFUL, and there are easier and harder trials. We plan to go waaaay more often.
