One of g he best camping area ever. More like a parking lot and RVs/Trailers are parked next to each other. No one minds because there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy. It is beautiful! I almost hate to share info on this one and would prefer to keep it to myself....lol

There is day use parking here ($8) right by the shore that was an easy place to launch our inflatable kayak.

This was a perfect place to stay in our camper as the other area campgrounds were full. It is essentially a large parking lot that has been sectioned off into camping. We came in when it was dark and we’re honestly extremely confused and probably didn’t park properly so that was odd. But man this campground is really a gem. Some of the spots are on the water with a fantastic view! The other spots that were not on the water were still very nice. Stars were incredible at night and the calm sunrise was unforgettable. If lack of privacy and hook ups doesn’t bother you and you need a place to crash, this is a great spot! It’s also very close to the bike trail.
