We had a five, almost six month stay here. It’s close enough to Denver to get where you need to and far enough away to enjoy the mountains. Everyone here was very nice. It’s right off the highway but there’s no highway noise. Super quiet with a gorgeous park right behind it.
Thank you Shawna for being awesome to us during our stay here. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again !
I've lived here temporarily and have enjoyed the people I've met here. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Shawna (the manager) and all her crew are amazing people. Lot sizes are well-sized and you don't feel crammed in. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the mountains and needs to stay in and around the Denver area.
I have only stayed here TWICE, Only for a few days at a time.
Shawna was pleasant enough. The location was prime and close to All Interstates access and to Denver Metro...
The parking spots were organized and clean. The laundry was average at best along with the Wash out area for tanks and water. The internet service was active but definitely was lacking speed and function, however when asked I was informed that that would be changing in the near future.
It was quiet and calm very little distraction from other renters which was a pleasant and much needed surprise.
It was close to a large TA & the neighborhood King Soopers is just under 2 miles away.
However I feel the pricing is atrocious... Especially if you're a full-timer and want to stay there 30 days at a time it's pricing is $1300 a month... Again I say $1,300 a month...
To me it seems to be a little higher But then again I don't have money coming out of my other orifices... If money is not an object & You have plenty of it This may be the place for you... However if you like me a single father just trying to make his daddy daughter time enjoyable It's a high price to pay just to have the camping experience locally...
I feel at this price there should be many more amenities...
Then again this is only my opinion... I feel that this location is the best around So with this knowledge Applewood RV Resort, in Wheat Ridge Colorado makes sure they get top dollar...
I guess as a business owner I can't fault them for their pricing structure as they're getting it whether people can afford it or not...
Please don't get me wrong, if I had lots of money it would definitely be top of my list However, since I don't I will drive out of the city, with no comforts of plug-in, only using the generator when I have to Because I just can't afford to stay somewhere that is this expensive on a regular basis...
I do appreciate what they are trying to do However it does not help the ones like myself...
Make sure you bring lots of $100 bills you'll need them...
I have been here for almost 6 months and the best part about this park is Shawna the manager. She has been so friendly where she is available until 10 at night.
She makes sure that all of the tenants in the park are well taken care of. She's always available and cordial to everyone
PS The park needs to be cleaned a little better... Which is the responsibility of the owners, they do not support this park the way they should. There is no full time maintenence man to keep the park clean.
It’s a nice, clean park with plenty of lot space. On-site laundry room was convenient with working appliances and the restrooms were always very clean when we needed to use them. The staff are super friendly, too. Shawna was always responsive if we had questions or concerns and Claude drives around the property regularly and will let you know if he notices a potential issue with your trailer like leaks or if your awning is out on a windy day. All in all it’s a great place to stay and I’ll be returning if I’m ever in the area again.
