We didn't fish. We didn't kayak. We simply enjoyed the views and took a plunge off the dock. Given that these waters are only fed by snow melt, they were bone chillingly cold... But it was awesome. Beautiful place.
First cast at this reservoir I pulled out a tiger musky. Numerous rainbow trout. Can be busy on weekends late June - August. Lots of dispersed camping all the way up 390 by the reservoir. Amazing views. Expect afternoon showers/storms.
Good place to take the family. It was quite windy and a little cold. I wish each camp site was farther apart. It was pretty clean and quiet. There are 2 bathrooms but you should bring toilet paper. We went fishing when the wind kicked up, so we caught no fish but still had fun!
