Way to stringent and way too many rules for my taste great place. If you're coming with a whole family and children. I'm giving it one star because there's literally people there 24-7 including at 3 In the morning when You're going to work and if you go one mile and a hour over 10. You get a ticket for $50. Same goes for washing your car you can't, or you get a ticket. They even have a police laser gun a real one.. These people petrolling are great for security but they need to stop harassing the people who live there that may be just going 2 miles an hour over the speed limit because they're late for work.

It goes verbal warning, ticket, then you're asked to leave.

This once was an amazing place. My family and I had been coming to this park over the past several years. My husband is a UA worker and we go where the work is, this was always our go to “home” park for AZ, mainly due to being one of the only “family” parks available, however within the past year/ and half maybe, we have watched it decline, which is very bittersweet to us as we have so many wonderful memories we have made here, again, up until recently. We now have one child grown and moved away, with one 16 year old still traveling with us. I understand children aren’t allowed to do certain things, however the parks control has gotten the best of it. My 16 year old isn’t allowed to enter the gym, shoot pool in billiards room, cannot drive a golf cart/atv anywhere in the park, (taking trash out) even while being licensed to do so. As far as younger children go, they have absolutely no freedom. Your young children now have to be kept on a 50ft leash from you at all times. I It’s also a favoritism thing, only some are “allowed” to do certain things. This new gate system they have in place, an absolute joke! It’s all about control here. You must get approval for any guest you may have visiting to enter the gates after said time. I have been told you now have to pay for any guest you may have visiting while residing here. (Hear say, not my own personal experience) They have implemented new rules, including absolutely NO deliveries into the park AFTER 5 pm! 5 pm!! This includes packages and or food deliveries. I understand that these delivery drivers may speed or whatever the case may be, however your guest shouldn’t have to pay for their mistakes. In order to receive your delivery after hours you must meet them in the front entrance now. Security also a joke! We were told in advance to watch out and be aware of some security employees, as they have had numerous complaints over the time of their employment here. Why do we need to be on guard regarding your security personnel?? Why are they still allowed to reside/work here?? I have personally watched and heard them taking it beyond professionalism, harassing and inappropriately flirting with staff. I too have also had to file complaints with management regarding this issue, yet they slap them on the hand and they are allowed to stay. The “security” will ride around and harass tenants rather than worrying about their security. This park offers grilling areas alongside the pool area, which is great, if only you didn’t have to reserve and pay for it now. Want to get off work and relax with a cold one in the jacuzzi, nope, again not allowed anymore. Worry about getting burnt while in the pool, so you wear a shirt for protection, nope not anymore! Swimwear ONLY! I understand rules, absolutely, however there is a line between being cautious/protective and just being a control snob and this park has gone beyond that control line and turned it into a prison compound. I’ve heard and seen others complain regarding the electric, over the past 8 months I didn’t have an electric due to work camp, however in the past years I don’t remember ever having and electric as high as some have stated, even while my children were younger. I’m sure with me stating this I’ll hear that I’m a disgruntled ex employee, so be it, however with being an ex employee I have seen/heard things other may not have, so take it however you choose. With the decline of this park my family has now left and downgraded from a “resort” to just a peaceful park if that tells you anything at all. I do hope the new owners will start taking notice of all the long timers/ seasonal people leaving and canceling reservations and fix the root of the problem, otherwise it will continue to decline. As of now, I do NOT recommend this park any longer to anyone, especially those with their children and family, if you’re considering work camp, I also do NOT recommend.

Edit to add: contacting office MANAGER regarding any return deposits is now considered harassment just fyi.

I will start by saying my husband and I with our children have been full time traveling for 8 years now and we have stayed in a lot of parks and this one, by far, has the most amount of “rules”, nit pickiness, and favoritism I have ever seen.

They change their rules constantly but don’t update anyone that the rules have changed. The only way you will know the rules have been updated, or that your RENT has INCREASED(it changes for the time of year-but during our stay they increased the “summer rate” by $150/month) is if you go into the office and just happen to pickup a 5 page rule book or look at the rate paper setting on the reception desk.

The same rules do not apply to the year round guests, the “working” guests and the guests with children. They completely stop all extra activities once the “snowbirds” leave.

They say they are “family friendly” but their actions state otherwise. Their playground is very sad. It is all the way in the over flow lot of the campground past the dumpsters, hidden. A lot of people we have talked to do not even know it’s there. They have the campground segregated by 55+ and 55 and under. Their pools are segregated by adults only and family pool. Which is fine,BUT the 55+ side of the campground is way nicer and upkept better than the -55. Also the -55 pool is always cloudy looking and gross, with leaves and bugs, while the 55+ side..you guessed it, sparkling clean! They will treat you very differently if you have children, having children will put a target on your back.

We have witnessed the park manager, Debra, brag in the office about kicking a family out as soon as they were parked because something on their camper broke on their way FROM CANADA and they had to duct tape it until they could get a mobile repair man out to help them fix it..she BRAGGED to another guest checking in that had something fall apart on their trip to the park.

They seem nice and accommodating one day, but the next day you’re getting in trouble for something new that is not listed in their 5 page rule book.

During snowbird season it’s like all the rules go out the window, unless again, you have kids. I have personally witnessed people pushing the roller cart from the laundry room TO THEIR CAMPER, but during off season an 80 year old woman, who is a full timer, got in trouble for trying to roll her laundry to where her car was parked ACROSS THE SMALL STREET from the laundry.

Milton traumatizes children by getting onto them under his breath while parents are a few feet away, multiple kids refer to him as “the mean man” and get scared just seeing his picture on the advertisement tv in the clubhouse. He not only enforces the rules but he does it in a very rude manor by walking straight up to you and without saying “hi” or another word, just starts telling you what you’re doing wrong and then starts to walk off without letting you get a word in edgewise or even ask a question, just says “rules rules you should know the rules”.

The park has many stray cats that get into your trash, walk on your vehicles, etc. and when this was brought to the parks attention in hopes they could re-home them or bring them to a cat hotel (we absolutely love animals and would never wish harm, they just scratch up the vehicles) Debra told us we could “shoot them”..so you’re telling me our kids are not able to go more than 50 feet from a parent riding their bikes, FOR SAFETY REASONS, but it’s okay for us to SHOOT a gun at a cat in the park?

The water in the park smells completely and utterly disgusting. It made us, our children and our dog sick. It had been tested with an “at home” water test and read 700, they have been made aware and truly do not care.

We’ve personally talked to at least 4 “snowbirds” that last year was their first year back since the park was under new management, that said they won’t be back.

I will finish by saying, it’s a beautiful park, but I would rather stay somewhere ugly with beautiful people than stay somewhere beautiful like this with the ugly management. Do better CG RV resort!

I stay here full time and have had a great experience. The people are pretty nice here, and it's a nice bustling town as well. The pool and hot tub are cleaned regularly, and the laundromat is very clean as well. This place just makes sense for anyone who either needs to just rest up or stay for the long term. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay here.
