We don't have a lot of RV experience, but we like this place because it's in the desert, it's quiet and peaceful, it's clean and well managed. Nice sized lots. It is a little far from popular tourist places, but we thought the solitude was worth it. Loved hearing the coyotes at night and watching the birds. We've stayed twice and will stay again if we're in the area.

We stayed from 1st week of December 2022 thru April 11th, 2023. Had originally only planned on being at 1 place for 2 weeks at the longest but the need for back surgery changed that.

Allynn was very accommodating as we didn't know for certain how long healing would take and kept our spot open to us on a monthly basis giving us spot until we were ready to go and put no pressure on us to decide.

They also sent a Christmas meal home with my wife for me as I was bed ridden prior to surgery!

Loved the pool and hot tub and the facilities were always clean.

Really enjoyed the live music they brought in

Perfect spot to find multiple places to hike and short drive to any store needed.

We stayed long enough to see 2 baby owls born and sit up in the nest.

Made great friends there and will be back yearly.

This was a great place for a layover from a long cross country trip. Clean, large premium sites, and the staff and fellow residents were very friendly. The only thought was that the premium sites should have faced the desert ... great views from inside the RV were missing. That was something that should have been considered during construction and really didn't take from the stay. One could easily sit outside and enjoy the view!

Just wrapped up two weeks stay at Cactus Country RV Resort and couldn't be happier. This little RV park isn't fancy, but boy is it friendly and clean. The bathrooms and showers are SPOTLESS, probably the cleanest of any park or campground I've ever visited. Same goes for the pool and hot tub. The people who run the park are super friendly, as were all the long and short term folks we met. Nice trails through the desert right beyond the property, and a Walmart Supercenter, Fry's and Safeway only 5 to 10 minutes away. Only 20 minutes drive from downtown Tucson, this is a perfect place to spend a few weeks relaxing if you are visiting the area.
